Tick Tock!

I have given notice at both jobs and can now announce that I will be starting the Guitar Construction and Repair program up at SE Technical in Red Wing, MN August 23rd! It was admittedly surreal to give notice at my primary employer as I've been here nearly 10-years, but no tears were shed I can assure you! You may still hear me occassionally on Q106...I am not leaving my employment there...just won't be on regularly. They are willing to throw me some hours when I'm back in town.

Moved some things up to Red Wing this past Thursday and Friday. It is nice to have found a furnished apartment. There is very little I will need to take up there with me. Plus it gave Amy and I a reason to eat at the Norske Nook in Osseo on the way up! Three words...Best Pie Ever! :)

I am in process of looking for a part-time job while in school. I've sent out a bunch of resumes and filled out applications galore. I do have a phone interview for one of them this Saturday, so wish me luck!

I am finding this whole process quite stressful and surreal, but the end result will be worth it. It's very strange to me to blow the works up, but it's the right thing to do for sanities sake. Everyone has been very supportive and we are very appreciative.

The time has come for Amy and Andy to do an appropriate blog. We have a lot of upcoming changes we know people will want updates on. We hope this blog will keep people up to date on the many goings on in our lives! Stay tuned for news very soon!
